- MTBtrailmaster - My idea was some sort of pov...like a narwhal or such. Idk if you have heard of such a mount. But basically it will jut out from my vented helmet in the front and the gopro will face back at me. I was wondering if you had any ideas for a similar mount. Thanks for your help

- IrixGuy's Adventure Channel - Surprisingly it doesn't. The mount attaches very securely to the helmet. It's important to tighten your helmet below your chin a litter more tightly than usual though. The most challenging thing that I found with this mount is how tall it makes the top of your head...LOL...you'll forget that it's on there so watch of if you bend over besides a wall, etc. to pick up a bicycle pump or something =)

I filmed it using this exact mount while riding my bicycle. These GoPros are so simple and the footage is so incredible! Gotta love all of the factory and custom GoPro mounting options available. Subbed yer channel dude!
- IrixGuy's Adventure Channel - @MTBtrailmaster If helmet protection is not a concern and you just need a camera to wear on your head you could hollow out the foam in the helmet and mount it lower. Which application do you plan to use it for?
- iuseutube2 - this is exactly how I have my camera mounted on my bicycle helmet, but I was able to use the sticky pad on the exact same spot where your strap is mounted, works just fine for me, and once you get the angle of the camera adjusted as well as considering how much your head will tilt down you should get excellent views all the time

- IrixGuy's Adventure Channel - Interesting! Maybe you could get a bicycle helmet mirror thingy and modify it to accept a GoPro? Have you prowled through the mounts on Amazon? There are a lot on there maybe something close enough to suit your purpose. Let me know how the hunt goes and I'll let you know if I stumble upon anything. The GoPro Dive mount is the next one that I'm going to buy before heading to Shark Ray Alley in Belize.

- IrixGuy's Adventure Channel - @frespirt1002 You just put button on top to stop and start. With 16gig sd card I think I get around 2 hours at 1080P. Got this with GoPro Hero 2 Outdoor edition around 300 bucks......
