  • John Brooking - I wouldn't buy any "safety" product from a company who doesn't know any better than to show their model riding on the wrong side of the road at night throughout the entire video. That's a leading cause of crashes right there, nighttime or daytime. Traditional headlights and taillights work just fine, when the cyclist rights on the correct side of the road and acts predictably. If he or she doesn't, it's a crap shoot no matter how well-lit you are, from whatever fancy new LED or laser gizmo some inventor has dreamed up.
  • Paul Skipper - Shame they are so extortionately expensive in the UK. At £249 that's more than most children's cycles. I will look at getting them for my children's bikes when I'm state side next.
  • Rick Shears - Watching this on Shark Tank right now and had to look it up. As a rider myself, this is a great idea.
  • SpizyChicken - Too heavy. Can you imagine strapping on a bottle of water to your wheels? It's a Tchotchke and might make a one time Christmas gift for a kid, but won't go much further. So for that reason, I'm out.

  • WorldWiz - Can someone please explain to me why this complex/expensive design is better than simply lighting the entire rim of each wheel? If it's just to "project light forward or backward," I don't see how that's worth the additional cost. Thanks.
