- 118himan - Im 16 and normally if im riding to school I wont wear a Helmet for the half mile (less than that) ride there on bmx. But when im on my mtb or road bike I always wear a helmet and I feel alot more confident about going into corners and jumps etc. Its funny how these days kids think that safety is unnecessary and uncool, well it will help save your life and help prevent further injury if you have safety equipment on.

- intercitty - Notice one thing most have in common is not lifting the front wheel. Too many larger drops surprised them and they flew over the handlebars, always when dropping or terrain gets steeper.. keep your ass above the back wheel!
