- Techmoan - PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE A BIT DIM - Before you post an uninformed comment along the lines of "The SJCAM is the real one this is a fake" - - LOOK AT THE UPLOAD DATE of this video - (Feb 4 2014) That's before anyone copied this camera - Also watch my FOLLOW UP VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uirzCD-qALE where I explain all about why the manufacturer started using the SJCAM branding after the camera became popular.
- Techmoan - UPDATE 14 Feb 2014: FLOPPY HINGES. I discovered today that however hard the screws are tightened up on the hinge mounts, they can still be freely moved. This seemingly makes the mounts in the box useless...however there is a solution. Use some sandpaper to roughen up the shiny plastic on the hinges...now when you tighten up the screw, the plastic has some friction and will lock in position properly.

- Paul McMahon - Hi I have watched most of your videos,on the HD action camera the SJ4000, I just bought the Turnigy action camera,its version N20140716VO1 --SJCAM-SJ4000 I think it is a rebranded camera as most people would agree with ,Now the picture qaulity is real good ,but the problem iam haveing with it is it wont take continues video in flight on my cx20 quad ? I have a class 10 scan dise miicro card in it new,when I put the camera on the kitchen table it will record for ever? in flight it will take blittle clips of video may be fifty or more the other day it recorded 194 clips ,I have tryed it on all mods of cyle 5 min 3min and the off option? iam at a total loss as to why this is happening ,!as I bought the camera for my new quad copter for some airial video :( aany help on this would be great , I have exsperanced this with a few camera I have bought,iam running windows 7 and a i3 cpu on a acer lap top,I cant think of anymore info that would help .thanks in advance Techmone.
- rollo316 - I bought one of these and I'm hoping to return it. I watched these reviews thought this device looked good and i was interested in it. now the problems that I had from my device is likely just a faulty device when i would switch through the modes it would freeze and the screen would go black only the buttons wouldnt respond and i had to remove the battery. I tried to play the same videos on my pc to find out that none of the video players i have on my computer would work the closest i got was my vlc player but that only played sound no video. I might have had a faulty cam but i would advice you to bite the bullet save up that extra 100 quid and buy the gopro

Of course the actual resolution is even higher than what you can appreciate here on youtube. I am very happy with the SJ4000. Also note: I shot the action elements and the timelapses with the SJ4000. Other elements were shot with a Sony SLM

- Aleksandar Borisov - Hey i bought my sj4000 a few day ago, I have a few questions, first my camera don't have sequence mode for timelapse. The version of the the software is N20140825V01 SJCAM-SJ4000. And the second question is what memory card should i buy 16gb or 32gb. Тhanks in advance. :)

- Pete B - Excellent review. When you mentioned that this camera has no 'upside down mode'' (unlike the GoPro) I was bummed since that is how I would need to chest mount it while biking. Perhaps some post edit software could resolve that. Nevertheless you saved me from a disappointing purchase for the time being.

- ANGUPRAVEEN PRAVEEN - Hi ! I have a sj4000 the non WiFi version ! Wen I insert a memory card it reads and let's me click photos as Normal! Later wen I take it to the computer the computer shows no pics ! So I put back the memory card back in cam and the cam shows no images left ! This has happened to me more than 10times now ! What may be the problem ! Thank u in advance :)

- Wormly Bums - Biggest GoPro ripoff ever. . . the camera and especially the case looks exactly like the GoPro
- DJ REMZ - HALF THE PRICE....fulll of gizmos!!!!...........but 1/10th of the image quality/stability/smoothness at the go pro (yeah go re watch that video up here, look at the horizontal fielding.....reminds me of an 80$ dollar camera I had 10 years ago!

- Bassem Zubedat - Hi Techmoan, last week I recived my SJ400.. til now everything is good with except recording time / the battery life. I can record for maximum time of 28 minutes and then the camera is of because the battery is out. in your video you said it could record more than an hour on a single battery.. and some reviews said it's close to 100 minutes... what is your saggestion ?
